Your online service trying to change a password

My complaint is with coupons. I have called several times to get the coupons other people get - they take the information and I never get the coupons on line. yesterday I was in the store went to get cream for 2.49 but at the check out line it was 2.98 because I did not check on line the discount coupon. went on line and spent an hour trying to get a new password because I forgot mine. Olive T. At the Get go gas station in Crafton Ingram plaza has a terribly horrible attitude and customer service skills. I went to buy cigarettes, I asked to Marlboro ice and she grabbed Marlboro lights, no big deal simple mistake so I repeated Ice she replied with a nasty tone "these are lights", I replied I said ice I-c-e. She says nothing. Before this conversation she rung them up and read out the total. After this conversation she rings the ice up says the total then goes "oh well I can't sell you these you don't have I.D. I said in response first you never asked second off I am 40 years old do I look 17 years old? So she replies well I guess I gotta refuse the sale them because you have an attitude. So I replied you are the one with the attitude I will get my I.D. it wasn't until I told her I would be calling customer service did she decide to sell me the cigarettes. Plus she never looked at the i.d. or scanned it, this was just her way of trying to mess with me. In addition, she stole a dollar from another customer and was refusing to return it. Her and the woman where fighting about it as I left.

My husband was at the market district giant eagle in Green Ohio and was in a hurry. He gave the cashier his coupons and noticed when he got home she didn’t take the coupons off. Screw job. Sick of this store. Going to ACME.

Really gone downhill

Bought cookies from the bakery last week. Had to take them back because they were as hard as concrete. Today went there and was in a total of 3 self checkout lanes and all of the machines broke and had to be closed down. No cashiers ever. Selection is dwindling, other than sub par Giant Eagle products. Thank god there are Shop n Saves and Wal-Mart's around.

Gift Card Website Support--Worst Customer Support

I have purchased e-gift cards on Giant Eagle's website several times with no issues. This saves me a tremendous amount of time. However, there must have been maintenance performed on the website because I have not been able to purchase an e-gift card on Giant Eagle's website for 2 months! I have called 3 times, and each time the representative says someone from website support will call me; and I never receive a return call! Nothing worse than being told someone from support will call and never receiving that call, unless you're told that 3 times!!! WORST Customer Support!!! I want to switch back to Kroger, but my husband likes the GE gas reward system better. Well, if this doesn't get fixed ASAP, we will be shopping at Kroger!!!!! Frustrated & Angry Customer!

So Giant Eagle located within Butler Commons plaza decided it was a good idea to use industrial strength bleach to rid of mildew/mold after it was discovered while replacing some of the coolers. Which is what you are supposed to do, but you are also supposed to close down the completely and when using that concentrate of bleach, ensure the building is well ventilated so that employees do not get sick or have side effects of inhaling to much of the fumes...evidently they did not do any of these things. I guess we don't have to follow the department of health's code yes? This happened today.

No Hand Baskets

I have never heard of a grocery store that doesn't carry hand baskets... The Giant Eagle here in Penn Hills on Rodi Road should be ashamed of themselves...Are they trying to do some type of psychological warfare where as if you go in and only want a few items, you have to get a shopping cart instead, so you will buy more products...Not!!!!

A few weeks ago they only had one hand basket, now they don't have any!!! What's the deal?

Are they running out of money and are they so expensive that the store can't afford to purchase more???? Aldi as well as the Dollar Store here I come!!!!

In case you haven't noticed, we have been in a pandemic all year. Those hand baskets and carts have to be sanitized every time someone touches them. It's hard enough to keep all the carts done, no store is using the baskets now because they don't have time to gather them from wherever people decide to set them down and leave them and make sure they have been sanitized before someone else picks them up.

ATTITUDE!!

I've been shopping at Giant Eagle (one store in particular), for 17 years. And what I have noticed recently (and, they are going to lose a portion of my business because of it), is "Big Time Attitude." In one department in particular. I won't articulate it completely in this review, but I will to their corporate office. Today I went into a competitor's store, for the same reason, and there was a "completely different attitude" there. No chips (one the shoulder's, no 'English; when I asked to see a manager). I would move 100 percent of my business over this except that my wife likes to shop there. So, on principal I'll take 25 percent of the food budget and spend it elsewhere. Terrible, just terrible "attitude" there and I'm a decent person and a customer and don't deserve it.

I recently moved to Pittsburgh from a place that’s closest grocery store was a Wegmans, so I didn’t have a Giant Eagle card. When I told the cashier I was met with a scoff from her, as well as a customer behind me.

Instead of offering to sign me up.. she starts yelling to the three workers, standing by watching, for her courtesy card. Instead of showing disgust that I was unaware I needed a Giant eagle card to check out, your cashier could’ve signed me up as one of the other ladies opened up a second line.

Truly amazed at how awful the customer service is, as well as just overall common decency. I’m new to the area, I had a full cart of groceries to pay your establishment for, and I also have been working in customer service for years.

Poor service and bad MGRs.

you see spills all over not cleaned up, not even floor wet sign pallets out on the floor in the evening hours. It makes hard to get around them. Over the past 10 years it seem to me GE don't care about the service it all about the money. Very sad to say i wish Krogers would buy them out. I also now see glass bottle on the top shelves this is a OSHA law not to do but I guess GE don't care. I see a checker on his cell phone, along with his pants so low you can see his under wear. great way to look thank you GE.

I love how people like you throw out their “expertise” in law, specifically laws that don’t even exist!OSHA has absolutely no laws regarding stacking glass items on top shelves, we have REAL infractions to investigate preventing true threat of human well-being.Go back to the rock you climbed out from under!

Terrible customer service in Grove City Ohio

Waited 30 minutes in line with only 2 customers ahead of me. (And one just had a hand basket, like me) The cashier had one problem after another. I complained once at the 20 minute point to the person running the floor but no other line was opened. Why I didn’t just leave my basket and go, I don’t know. Plus they had some false advertising on a buy one, get one free product. If the item says “buy one, get one free” and “save $2.49”, I would expect to pay $2.49. Wrong, it was $4.98. I will not shop there anymore after being a customer for 20 plus years.
